North Eastern Small Scale Industries Association (NESSIA) was established under Societies Registration Act (1860) in the year 1995-96 for the common cause of entrepreneurs in North Eastern States. As a nodal agency, NESSIA works towards promoting the cause of small entrepreneurs in the region as an advocacy, policy promotion and capacity development agency. For close to fifteen years of its operations, NESSIA has been proactive in addressing key organisational, functional challenges of entrepreneurs in the region.
